The Marco Polo Network wins Best New Application of SCF Technology at BAFT 2019

Global Finance magazine has announced its twelfth annual ranking of the World’s Best Supply Chain Finance Providers in an exclusive survey to be published in the February 2019 issue. The honorees were revealed during an awards luncheon at the BAFT Europe Bank to Bank Forum in London on January 16th.

The Global Finance’s editorial review board—with input from industry analysts, corporate executives and technology experts—selected the best providers of supply chain finance and management services. Criteria and factors considered included: market share and global coverage, product innovation, customer service, technology, execution skills and client-specific implementations. The award for Best New Application of SCF Technology was presented to Daniel Cotti, Marco Polo’s Chief Network Officer and Simone Blair, Enterprise Sales at R3.

“Supply chain finance is harnessing the power of distributed-ledger technology to automate paper-based processes and boost productivity in the international movement of goods and payments. Giarraputo, publisher and editorial director of Global Finance.
